Character's Nicknames: JJ.
Nationality/Heritage/Species: Scottish, Human.

DescriptionJade has light brown hair that goes down to her shoulders and dark brown eyes that hardly ever give away her emotions. Jade has the body of an athlete, which is what makes her stand out from people in a crowd. Jade's thin eyebrows are a delicate black color, but it is barely noticeable because she mostly has a fringe slightly over it. Jade's clothes are usually casual, normal shoes and jeans and t-shirts, but for nights out she'll wear a dress or something smart. When Jade is exaggerating a little, her hands usually start twitching nervously, and when she's lying, the only way you can tell she's lying is if you are behind her, because her fingers are always crossed out of habit.
PB: Emma Watson.
Personality: Jade is a very kind, sweet and caring person. At times she can be hard, angry and fierce, but that's all part of her Scottish heritage. Jade will look after anyone or anything even if they are able to kill her. She'd risk her life for the people she loves and would do anything for them. Even if she'd just met someone, she'd protect them from any threat that could be around. Jade gets a bit mouthy at times but that's only when somebody makes her angry. Her Scottish side is the side that helps her along, and makes her brave but she can get scared sometimes, even if she doesn't admit it.
Personal History: Jade was born to Johnathan and Amanda White in London. Johnathan didn't want a child. Amanda, however, loved Jade to bits and looked after her day and night after her father left. Jade was a reasonably quiet baby, though she did have her moments, as all babies do. At the age of five, she talked so much that her mother often joked that there was no off button on her.
When she grew up more, however, she quietened down and started to read books. She loved books as though they were a part of her family. Her mother adored her book-loving daughter and was forever buying Jade more and more books to read, that always kept her satisfied. Soon, though, everything began to change, and in a bad way.
Amanda got a boyfriend, when Jade was 12. Jade hated him, and he hated Jade, and whenever Amanda wasn't around the boyfriend yelled at Jade and insulted her and threatened her in as many ways as possible. Jade cried into her pillow every night just because of him. One day, when Amanda was in the office, the boyfriend smacked Jade and sent her crashing into a glass cupboard, causing her to get a scar on the side of her forehead. After that, the boyfriend left Jade alone.
When Amanda died, Jade was sent to her grandparents house in Cardiff. When she was 14, she saw her first alien. She had gone for a walk around Cardiff and she saw a Cyberman attack. Surprised, and curious as she was, she stayed hidden, watching. Sooner or later, they were gone. She went back to the house without a word about the attack, though she remembers it well and often wonders what those things were.
When Jade was old enough to move out, she was happy to start her own life. Maybe not a family, okay, but a life of her own is something she had wanted for long enough. So she got a flat and started living alone, becoming a computer genius and managing to hack into just about anything, secret files, all of that sort of thing.
Plot/Story ideas:
Scenario #1: Jade was minding her own business, sitting in a cafe, reading the newspaper. She was frowning at the headline. More Attacks Strike. This stuff was getting so confusing. Jade didn't even know how all of this had started. She tried to think back, but her mind seemed to be asleep still. Shrugging, she reached over for her coffee and took a few sips, then put it back on the saucer and turning the page in the newspaper. What on Earth is attacking these people, she thought and how are the government, or anyone really, going to stop it if it keeps happening and they are apparently already trying their very best?
Jade was closing the newspaper and putting it down when suddenly somebody spills coffee in her lap. Jade sits, stunned for a moment, then looks up at the person. "Hey, you think you could be just a tiny bit more careful?" she said, a little cross. "Sorry, madam." the guy said, rather cheekily in Jade's opinion, and this got her angrier. "Hey, don't you be cheeky about it, mister, because let me tell you, it sounds real like you did that on purpose." she said, her voice edgy. The waiter just walked away. Jade rolled her eyes and started mopping up the coffee off her lap, sighing deeply. When it had all pretty much gone, though it had stained her jeans, she gave a deep sigh. "Honestly, people these days. Don't know how to apologize properly." she muttered to herself. She paid for her coffee and then
left the cafe, heading towards her house to change into another pair of jeans.
Scenario #2: Jade was smiling. It was another cool, august day. She loved these type of days, with the wind blowing through her hair, and the sound of leaves rustling along the ground. She considered it beautiful. The sun was slowly setting, slowly fading beautifully. A man stepped in front of Jade, causing her to stop dead in her tracks. She frowned, wondering what he was trying to do and who he was. She didn't know him and yet here he was trying to stop her walking. "Ah, Jade White. How are you this fine evening? Enjoying the sunset?" the man said. Jade shrugged, not replying, suspicious. "I know all about the little organization you are a part of. Torchwood, I believe it's called?" the man continued. Jade's eyes showed nothing, though her fingers crossed behind her back. Uncrossing them and swinging them to her sides, Jade raised her eyebrows, feigning innocence and confusion. "Torchwood? What on Earth are you talking about? What is this Torchwood? A group of some sort?" she said, confusion ringing in her voice. Jade could do that most of the time. Make everything sound so realistic. "Torchwood is an organization that fights aliens and..." the man explained it all. Jade's eyebrows shot up again. "Well, I don't know what you've been on, mate, but let me tell you, I have no idea whatsoever what you mean, and I think you should get proof of this...this...organization before trying to explain it to a complete stranger." She said, and walked past him. As she did, she saw an ID card hanging out of his pocket. Her hand snatched it and pocketed it, moving on. When she was safe, she took out her mobile and dialed a number. "Hey. It's me. Your not going to believe this."
