Stepping past the fountains near the entrance to TW Cardiff head quarters, Jenni was wearing her usual plain long black coat with a white shirt underneath and a pair of black jeans with grey trainers. Her hair was tied back in her usual pony tail and as she looked in the mirror like building she smiled to herself, she was looking as plain as ever. She liked that.
Jennifer sighed to herself, it was her first time going into the Cardiff main head quarters and she was worried about it. She'd already met a member of TW Cardiff but she knew that Owen wouldn't have recognised her as being the doctor from TW London. That hub was still undergoing some problems, those problems being that it hadn't even been built yet.
She came into the main deck pretty easily, no one had been in the front office when she'd passed so she'd just let herself in, gone through the doors and had come out, standing in the main part of the TW Cardiff building. Jenni had to say that she was impressed, if Torchwood London was half as good as this building was then it would be an amazing place to work in. She was also secretly hoping that she could prove herself pretty quickly in this job. She'd been wanting to be part of it for so long.
Taking a seat she flicked through some pages on a desk and started humming to herself, waiting for others to arrive.

It was early for Owen to come to work. He had research to do on the Weevils. He was not sure what it is about but it was new testing he got from UNIT. Thanks by Martha Jones who sent them a file on the news. Toshiko was not around to say anything. Gwen was not in the HUB, she must be with her lover rubber ball boy, Rhys. Owen was not speaking to Ianto. Owen said something stupid about Jack and Ianto had gone off throwing his weight around at Owen. So Owen decided to shut up because Ianto was going all blue on him.
Owen was wet of course from the down pour. “Can we have one day off?” He asked as he was walking through the Cog door entrance. Toshiko was not at her station, Ianto was not his station and PC Cooper wasn’t in her office.
Removing his wet black leather coat, he saw a familiar woman sitting at his desk. “You are kidding me. You are….” He went off swearing in color words we shall not read here to do to respect to the reader. He was angry, but, he was glad to see Jenni. It was weird. Owen was glad no body was here to witness this event. It was almost weird when he had that weird relationship with Suzie. That was still a bugger memory.
Owen decided to forget that evening go with Jenni. He decided not to pursue Jenni because what had happened with Diane Holmes. It was too close to home, gods, that sounds so much like Gwen Cooper.
Like Owen said, it was weird to see her at his work station. Did she know that? Did anyone know that? He was furious at Gwen and the team. Did they bother leave a message for Owen? Owen, we have a member who was dropping by. How did she get in? Was it really her? Was she actually an alien in disguise?
“Hey, what are you doing here?” Owen asked. He was now wondering how a stupid question was that. He felt funny. He was looking around the Hub. Was the team around? Are they in danger? Is this a trap? Was he alone? He put his guard up. Spoiled eggs, he had no gun on his body or any defence weapon. So, what will happen now?

Jenni had to grin at Owen's reaction to her, it was pretty hilarious. As soon as he saw her he had a look of shock written on his face that would be very memorable, that look then turned defensive “Hey, what are you doing here?” Owen asked She smiled again, "Calm down, jeez you look like you've just seen a ghost or something. I was only popping in for a visit. TW London isn't exactly finished yet and so I'm down here, helping you out for a bit Owen."
She was still holding the papers in her hand as she stood up and looked at him, "Are you really that surprised to see me?" Placing the papers back on the table precisely as she found them she sighed to herself, "I thought I'd at least get a little mention somewhere; but then you didn't recognise me in the club either... That's actually dissapointing." Jenni smiled at him, but there was a twinge of sadness in her eyes that flashed for only a few seconds before vanishing as if it had never been there in the first place, "Anyway, we can stand here chatting all day or I can properly introduce myself and you can finally tell me your actual occupation Owen. Not that I don't already know... But it would just be nice to hear it from you."

Rolling his head and his eyes in disgust Owen placed his hands on his hips. He let a breath escape his lungs. “I am sorry they did not mention you. I wished they did,” he said. He was walking over to her side as he grabbed the papers. “They are not a good source…Poor in communicating department.” He was flipping through the pages.
“I told you I was a MD,” he said, placing the papers back down on the table. He was not tidy. He sat down the couch. It was his bed he occupied while Jenni was staying at his place.
“It seem the team is out,” he said. He could be wrong. Yanking the pillow out under him. He shoved the pillow to the side of the couch.
“Why did you not tell me you are Torchwood London?” he said dryly.

"Well, yeah. I guess so, plus with all the fuss about building the place, they haven't exactly had time to set up proper communication with you yet." Jenni cocked her head to the side as he sat on the couch, he seemed angry at her, "Yeah, but you didn't tell me that you were working here. I know that you've gotta keep it secret and all but I thought you might have let it slip somewhere." Tidying up the pages on the desk she noticed a bag of something next to the couch, "Have you been sleeping here? Were you really that desperate to be away from me while I stayed at your apartment for a couple of nights?"
Jenni leant against the desk with the papers on it, she hadn't expected him to be this angry, "I've only just become a part of Torchwood and wasn't entirely sure that you were part of it until last night, when they sent me the files of all the staff here. Before I could tell you though you ran off, saying that work called you up again and needed you; I would have told you or called you or something but I don't actually have a phone at the moment, so I couldn't and I didn't think that you'd want me to call you up saying, 'Hey, I'm actually working at TW London.'" Jenni sighed, "I've only just been recruited and still don't even know the very basics of this job because they don't even seem capable of organising a piss-up in a brewery."
