Character Name: Allyson Amanda Summers
Character Gender: Female
Character Age/Birthdate [if unknown, make it up appropriately]: 16/20 August
Character's Nicknames [if applicable]: Al, Ally
Nationality/Heritage/Species: Human / Irish
Occupation: student

PB + Image: Bonnie Wright
Personality [include strengths and weaknesses. Detail required]:
Allyson is a sweet person, friendly to almost everyone she meets. She is kind hearted and has a passion for music, whether she is singing or playing it on her piano.
Allyson is an intelligent person. She loves history and so far, that is her best subject. She also loves literature and can be seen reading almost all the time. Al seems to work her best when she is under lots of pressure and hardly ever gets stressed out over things like that. Allyson however is not a very good problem solver. She usually acts before thinking things through, sometimes putting her into more trouble than she hopes for.
Allyson does have a temper, but rarely ever shows it unless some one else had “set her off” so to speak. She keeps a cool head. Allyson is a loyal person, once she trusts someone, she is loyal to them and would help them in anyway she can, no matter what kind of trouble they are in.
Allyson can also be a bit of a day dreamer. At most times, she could “tune” someone out, and completely ignore them. She usually does this in class while the teacher is talking or if someone is annoying her. If Allyson tries to give advice and someone ignores her, it usually frustrates her.
Allyson has a sense of humour, laughing at jokes rather than telling them. She loves to listen to them and her sense of humour seems to be more sarcastic than anything else, also leading to the sarcastic side of her personality. She is told by her family that sarcasm is her superpower.
Personal History [if known, brief outline]:
Allyson’s mother Shallen had met the 9th Doctor when she got in the middle of a Sontaran battle against the Doctor. She had helped him after he saved her and they started traveling together. She learned so much about the time lords and what the Doctor was about, that she started falling in love with him.
The Doctor had dropped Shallen off at her home for a few days, just to say hi to her sisters. When he had come back, she had told him that she was unable to travel with him any longer, using her older sister Sally’s cancer as an excuse. The Doctor left and Shallen never saw him again, not telling him the real reason, that she was pregnant. She wasn’t sure if the baby would survive, so she didn’t want to bother telling him.
Allyson was born on the 20th of August. She was a healthy baby, and nothing seemed to be wrong with her and Shallen was happy about that. Ever since her birth, Shallen’s life had been turned upside down. When Allyson was a year old, Sally had passed away from her cancer, leaving her two children, 6 year old Billy and 4 year old Becky to Shallen’s other sister Sarah, who was the oldest. Sally was divorced so there was no one else except Sarah and Shallen to take care of them.
When Allyson turned 5, she kept complaining about headaches, and Shallen wondered if this was it, if this was the end of her daughters life. When Allyson stopped complaining about them a few months later, Shallen took her to a doctor to get tested and they said everything was fine with her brain. When Shallen and Allyson had returned home, they learned that Sally and her husbands car had been in a terrible accident, and both had died. Shallen was now the only one of her siblings left and taking care of 5 children.
11 years later, Allyson had lost her own mother to robbery of her mother’s store. The 5 cousins are still pretty joyful and optimistic about everything, claiming “everything happens for a reason”. Allyson lives with her older cousins, Billy and Mark who are both 22, able to take care of Jimmy, Becky and Allyson, and continue to run Shallen’s successful retail clothing store. They live in a nice old Victorian house, big enough for the 5 of them. Shallen had kept no secrets from Allyson. After Shallen had died, Allyson had gotten a letter from her, revealing who her father is and talking about her adventures with him.
Allyson had been helping Mark and Billy run her mother’s shop when a man came in asking to see her mother. Allyson thought it was strange because her mother had already been dead for 5 months. She had told the man who she was and had given him the letter, knowing that Shallen would have wanted the Doctor to know.
Allyson never traveled with him, but she hopes to in the future. She had gotten to know a little about the Doctor, loving that he helps and saves people and planets.

Allyson woke up with a headache. She turned her alarm off and rolled herself out of her twin bed. She looked over at Becky’s bed which was empty and she wondered where she was. Allyson walked over to the closet and opened it. She pulled on a pair of black jeans and she also took out a nice pink shirt. Allyson put her reddish brunette hair up in a pony tail and she put on a pair of her nice trainers. Allyson had walked down the stairs and saw Jimmy sitting at the kitchen table.(number of words: 285)
“hey there.” Allyson smiled to Jimmy.
“hey, wanna go out for coffee? We have nothing here.” Jimmy sighed.
Allyson shrugged and she agreed to go. They walked down the street and into the city. Allyson and her cousins never really drove anywhere, unless they had to. At times, Allyson walked many miles a day.
Jimmy and Allyson had reached a small café and agreed to go inside. Allyson had ordered a simple coffee and Jimmy got a mocha. They sat down off to the side and over by the window, away from most people. Jimmy and her talked on and on about random things and laughed over them.
“I‘m going to use the bathroom.” Jimmy smiled.
Allyson nodded and he walked off. She sat there, taking a sip of her coffee when someone spilled coffee all over her jeans. Thank god they were black.
“I am so sorry.” a young man’s voice said and Allyson looked up and saw that it was none other than her old friend Josh.
“oh my God, Josh it has been so long since I have seen you!” Allyson exclaimed smiling happily.

Allyson had a nice talk with Jimmy and Josh in the café. She had cleaned the coffee stain off of her pants and still heard Josh’s sorrowful voice. He was always like that, overly sorry for things that he had done that were bad. She only laughed at that. She thought it was nice to see him again, learning that he was only here in London for a week then going back to Ireland.(words: 263)
Allyson continued to walk down the sidewalk. She looked over her shoulder and noticed that the same man had been following her for a while now. She was not completely sure he was following her, but she guessed it. Allyson tried crossing the street. When she noticed he did to, she quickened her pace. She really wished that she would have taken a cab home and not walked. She came to a sudden halt when the man had pulled back on her arm.
“I know what Torchwood is, what they do.” the man said.
All Allyson did was give him a puzzled look. She knew what he was talking about, and remembered the Doctor, her father, had mentioned Torchwood a few times.
“I’m sorry?” Allyson looked at him trying to free her arm.
“Torchwood. They hunt aliens, where is there base. I know you know.” the man answered.
Allyson had no idea where they were. She never even seen Torchwood, let alone had been anywhere near it.
“sorry, sir. I don’t know anything about a Torchwood.” Allyson kicked him in the shin, and sprinted down the street.
